Painting
Gesture and intuition assert their dominance on the pictorial surface to evoke the wing that whispers the desire to fly. Ultimately, all my work is an attempt to capture the ungraspable: that which slips away. Painting allows me to express what words can barely articulate: that we are abstract forms in search of an outline. Thus, colour, imagery and textures tell tales born of intuition and personal reflection. I do not need a specific subject; I let myself be carried away by what I see, my experiences and the stories I invent.
